From the Director's Desk

Hello friends,

Over the last couple months, we have been confronted with a number of challenges as an organization. We have seen many of our heroes return home wounded, and we have worked hard to help as many as we could. We have seen too many not return at all, and we have reached out to their families to let them know we care and that we will never forget. We have watched out own nation deal with not one, but two catastrophic storms which have destroyed whole communities, including homes of some of our own members as well as homes of the families of our brave men and women in uniform.

Through all of these hardships I have watched the members of this organization mobilize to meet these challenges head on, coming up with innovative ways to deal with each crisis. You are an amazing group of people--something I was aware of before, something I am sure of now. I have never been more proud and honored to work with such a group of people.

Whether you collected items to be sent to those in need, donated money or opened your home up to a family in need, we can all be very proud of the way that Soldiers’ Angels responded to the hurricanes of the last several weeks. I would like to thank all of you, from the bottom of my heart, for your dedication, commitment and your heart which you give of so freely. Thank you all for everything that you do.
