Special thanks to Frankford Hospital and Angel Terri. The Christmas in July collection was a great success. They mailed out more than 75 boxes to large units, with all postage paid by the hospital auxiliary. The cookie sale raised $219.00, which was used to buy socks for a unit of 100 men. Cash donations of more than $400.00 poured in. Out of that, $300.00 went towards the purchase of phone cards for Willie to give to the wounded. This special hospital is going to support our troops for Christmas (in December) as well. Many thanks to Denise Smietana, Director of Volunteer Services, Carol Bancroft, of Volunteer Services, and May Rayburn, President of the Frankford Hospital Auxiliary. Bravo for all your work and generosity!
